«Forgive Me» is a series of 5 works with variations over the same motive, created with different colour shades; light blue, blue, pink, light yellow and light orange.
Skogstad uses the line, one of the basic elements in art, conceptually to convey a situation, condition or state of emotional disruption, pain or chaos.
The works are build with random, jagged, energetic linework, irregular and broken, entangling, twisting and twirling. Fractures or splinters seem to be floating around. Ferment, created with colour shades in red, gray, brown and light gray tones, and a variation in beige expression, depicts a dynamic abstract landscape portraying a form of agitation or excitement.
Funk, shows a landscape created using static geometric shapes and forms. The title connects to an art direction having great influence in Scandinavia both in art and architecture.
